Miller & Sons Golf Cars is taking customization of golf cars to the next level.

Owned by Skip and Sherry Miller and Jim and Peg Miller, the business was started in the late 1960s by Monty Miller and his sons, Skip and Jim. The family purchased a leasing company that was for sale, and it has since developed into a full-service business that offers leasing, sales and service, and everything from wholesale to retail.

Miller & Sons Golf Cars specializes in customizing golf cars. They also have a large selection of inventory with 700 golf cars presently on the lot. It is rare for them to have fewer than 50 customized cars on hand, and their indoor showroom holds about 70 golf cars.

There are always new things when it comes to golf car customization. The business can lift or stretch golf cars, turning a two-passenger car into a four-passenger one. It can also match the designs on the seats to the golf car. They can provide accenting and color matching, though color matching can be tricky.

Along with golf cars, Miller & Sons Golf Cars sell Aluma trailers, Bad Boy buggies and low-cost, high-quality utility vehicles. The business said what sets them apart from other companies is their service. They have two people who each have more than 40 years of experience, and everyone in the facility goes through a factory school.

There are presently eight factory-trained mechanics, and they also have three service trucks so they can service at remote locations.

There are 14 full-time employees, and the business is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, or by appointment.
