To work in the offseason by the Albert Lea football team.

The Tigers went winless the last two seasons, but second-year head coach Kevin Armbrust is working diligently to change that. He set up a passing league with four other teams during the offseason, and Albert thumb.upLea participated in the Luther College football camp this summer as a team. Although the Tigers won’t play rival Austin or any other Big Nine Conference teams during the regular season, Albert Lea will play teams with more comparable enrollments compared to last season. In the postseason, the Tigers may face a conference opponent, as the teams in Section 1AAAA are Winona, Red Wing, Byron, Kasson-Mantorville and Stewartville. We are looking forward to seeing Albert Lea’s hard work pay off.
