Leonid Skorin Jr., an ophthalmologist with Mayo Clinic Health System – Albert Lea and Austin, recently served as a delegate representing the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society at the American Osteopathic Association’s House of Delegates meeting in Chicago.

Various health care initiatives and resolutions were presented, evaluated and incorporated into the national association’s agenda.

Skorin is the immediate past president of the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society. He has also served as a delegate at past House of Delegates meetings.

Skorin joined Mayo Clinic Health System in 2000 as a comprehensive ophthalmologist with an emphasis on cataract, glaucoma and eyelid surgery. He also sees and treats patients with macular degeneration.
