Woman injured after collision with pickup

Vehicles reportedly crash at junction of Interstate 90 and Highway 13

One person was injured from a broadside collision Saturday afternoon at the junction of Minnesota Highway 13 and Interstate 90 in Freeborn County.

Stephanie Martin, 24, of Mora, driver of a 1993 Ford Corolla, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea by ambulance, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Her injuries were deemed not life-threatening.

Bruce Watt, 47, of Vermillion, driver of a 2012 Ford pickup, was not injured.

The pickup was traveling eastbound, crossing Highway 13, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The Corolla was traveling northbound on Highway 13 when the vehicles collided.

The incident reportedly occurred at 3:10 p.m. Saturday.

The report stated no alcohol was detected and both Watt and Martin were wearing their seat belts.

Gold Cross ambulance assisted on scene.
