Broadway construction seems to be am ongoing project this year from Main Street all the way to I-35. It just floors me when it looks like corners and costs are being cut. I don’t understand why curb and gutter plus sidewalks are replaced down Broadway to the Hardee’s location. But where the center medians gutters starts they just leave them in disrepair, crumbling, pieces missing and falling apart and to just blacktop over the problem. Were the medians not part of this project? Do our city leaders see the cover-ups or are they blind eye to the problem? Also at Main and Broadway, why are the new bump outs being tore up to add new sidewalk along Main? Was there no forethought in future construction projects on them corners, so previous work wouldn’t have to be disturbed and more tax money spent on a redo?
