Inmate dies at Faribault state prison, largest in state

FARIBAULT — The Minnesota Department of Corrections said an inmate died at the state prison in Faribault.
The death is currently under investigation.
The department is not releasing any other information until the person’s family has been contacted.
The Faribault prison is the largest in Minnesota. It’s a minimum-to-medium security facility and holds about 2,000 inmates.
