Internet fraud reported
A female reported losing more than $1,000 in a possible Internet scam at 12:31 p.m. Friday at 806 Troy Road in Albert Lea.
1 arrested for identity theft
Albert Lea police arrested Yadiel Antonio Medina Gonzalez, 25, for felony identity theft at 2:58 p.m. Saturday at 2718 Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea, Gonzalez was arrested after there was a report of three males in the store trying to add phones to other people’s accounts.
Man arrested on warrant
Albert Lea police arrested Emil Henry Juntunen on a warrant for failure to appear for a gross misdemeanor issuance dishonored check at 1:37 p.m. Saturday at 205 N. Ermina Ave. in Albert Lea.
Woman arrested for domestic assault
Albert Lea police arrested Angelica M. Estrada Bocanegra for misdemeanor domestic assault at 7:33 p.m. Sunday at 507 St. Peter Ave. in Albert Lea. She was arrested after a mother, daughter and a male were reported fighting across the alley.
Thefts reported
A Social Security card, birth certificate, $540 in cash and approximately $270 in quarters were reported stolen at 1:07 p.m. Sunday at 126 1/2 W. William St. in Albert Lea. The alleged incident reportedly happened at around 5:45 p.m. Saturday. A black male from Chicago was reported as a suspect by the alleged victim.
A theft was reported at 10:04 p.m. Friday from Walmart in Albert Lea. Several articles of clothing and food items were reported stolen at 6:43 p.m. Sunday from Walmart in Albert Lea. A white female and a black male in a silver Honda, identified as suspects, were reported seen going west towards Main Street.
Woman reportedly threatened with knife
A male with a knife reportedly threatened a female at 7:31 p.m. Saturday at 2405 Gene Ave. in Albert Lea. The person involved reportedly refused to cooperate.
