Owners of bed and breakfast to give presentation in Hayward

Joe and Katherine Pacovsky are the featured speakers for the Dorothy Godtland Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Czech Inn Bed & Breakfast at 19158 800th Ave. in Hayward.

Those who would like to carpool to the event can meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Albert Lea Art Center, 226 W. Clark St. The lecture is free and open to the public. Kolaches, made with Joe Pacovsky’s mother’s recipe, will be served.

The couple will share the story of their journey from shack to bed and breakfast of the year. The Czech Inn is the only bed and breakfast within a 40-mile radius. Primary guests are by word of mouth. For directions to the Czech Inn call 507-373-2477 or 507-473-3276.

The Albert Lea Art Center is at 226 W. Clark St. in Albert Lea. The art center, gallery and art shop hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
