The Albert Lea girls’ soccer team tied Winona 0-0 in overtime Thursday on Senior Night at Jim Gustafson Field.
The Tigers (3-9-2, 2-8-1 Big Nine) outshot Winona (0-14-2, 0-9-2) 38-1 and had the ball for 83 of 90 minutes, but the game ended in a 0-0 tie after the two five-minute halves of overtime. Albert Lea’s next game will be in the Section 2A playoffs. Brackets have not yet been released.
