Burglary reported
An apartment was reported broken into and a wallet stolen at 11:37 a.m. Thursday at 213 E. College St. There was $5,500 in cash reportedly in the wallet. Entry was apparently made by pushing an air conditioning window unit in.
Hit-and-run crash reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 7:29 p.m. Thursday at 820 Happy Trails Lane.
Careless driving reported
A small Chevy Aveo reportedly tried to run someone off the road and took off in excess of 100 mph Thursday on southbound Interstate 35, mile marker 29. The alleged incident was reported at 8:09 p.m.
Sign reported
A sign reportedly with derogatory words on it was reported at 9:38 p.m. Thursday at 88012 110th St. outside Glenville. The words were reportedly spray-painted on the door of a trailer. The words reportedly looked old and was possibly vandalism.
Thefts reported
Tires were reported missing from a four-wheeler at 7:34 a.m. Thursday at 1513 W. Clark St. Loss was estimated at $1,000. No suspects were reported.
A theft of property from storage units was reported at 1:36 p.m. Thursday at 1018 S. Broadway Ave. in Albert Lea. Nine large wooden and iron wagon wheels and two antique countertop mercantile scales were reported stolen.
A weedeater was reported stolen at 6:22 p.m. Thursday at 320 W. College St.
Man arrested on warrant
Police arrested Rex Emery Garr on a Scott County warrant for drug possession at 5:17 p.m. Thursday at 621 E. 11th St. in Albert Lea.
