Kristine Kirsch and Eric Mason

Kristine Kirsch and Eric Mason of Riceville, Iowa, were married during a double ring ceremony at 5 p.m. Sept. 12, 2015, at the Mason family farm in Chester, Iowa. The Rev. Gabe Casciato officiated. A reception followed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Stacy Bednar of Albert Lea and the late Steven Kirsch of Albert Lea. She is the granddaughter of Faith and the late Thomas Kirsch of Albert Lea, Sharon Bednar of Albert Lea and Marvin and Dianna Bednar of Pewaukee, Wisconsin.

She attended Albert Lea High School, Riverland Community College and North Iowa Area Community College. She is employed at the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office, Worth County Sheriff’s Office and Mitchell County Regional Health Center.

The groom is the son of Joe and Cathy Mason of Chester and the grandson of Leroy and Joann Wegman of Riceville and Robert and Norma Mason of Chester.

He attended Cresco High School, is employed at Mason Farms and is a member of the Iowa Air National Guard.

Katherine Kirsch of Albert Lea, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor. The bride’s attendants were Ami Garduno of Albert Lea, cousin of the bride; Kristen Allen of Albert Lea, friend of the bride; JoAnna Thompson of Williams, Iowa, friend of the bride; and Val Paulson of Northwood, friend of the bride.

Morgan Mason, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl. Owen Mason, nephew of the groom, served as ringbearer. Both are the children of Chris and Kelsey Mason of Ausbury, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.

Chris Mason of Ausbury, Iowa, brother of the bride, served as the best man. The groom’s attendants were Jay Burns of Lime Springs, Iowa, friend of the groom; Luke Korpak of Carthage, North Carolina, friend of the groom; Kyle Balik of Cresco, Iowa, friend of the groom; and Andy Harrelson of Atlantic, Iowa, friend of the groom.

Dustin Garduno of Albert Lea, friend of the couple, served as the usher.

Other participants included special readers Brycin and Braydin Kirsch, nephews of the bride and sons of Katie Kirsch and Cody Bolinger of Albert Lea.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her grandfather Marvin Bednar and her brother Dillon Matthews.

The couple took a brief trip to the Wisconsin Dells shortly after their wedding and are currently planning an official wedding trip.
