Man arrested on warrant after foot chase
Police arrested Jacob Gardner, 28, on a Mower County warrant at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday on St. Peter Avenue in Albert Lea after a short foot chase. Gardner was apparently riding a bike and wearing a face mask. He reportedly crashed his bicycle while trying to flee an officer.
Gardner was reportedly taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after complaining of elbow pain in connection with the crash. He was later released from the hospital and transported to jail.
Thefts reported
A Milwaukee-brand construction radio was reported taken at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday from Riverland Community College. The radio was valued at $150. No suspects were identified. The radio reportedly has “HAC” written on top with a magic marker.
A snowmobile and a Chevy motor were reported taken at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at 27744 760th Ave., outside Clarks Grove.
Man arrested on order
Police arrested Randall Darrell Jones, 42, on an apprehension and detention hold at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday at 408 Fountain St. Jones was taken to jail.
Burglary reported
A burglary was reported at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday at 29048 890th Ave. in eastern Freeborn County. Someone reportedly broke into a building and took items.
Man arrested on probation violation
Police arrested David Wesley Neely, 23, on a probation violation at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday at 820 S. Fourth Ave. in Albert Lea.
