Alliance Benefit Group/Kansas City was honored to be the recipient of Fidelity Investments’ inaugural Be Greater Award, recognizing the firm as the leader in providing retirement advisory and fiduciary investment advisory service.
Fidelity Investments provides services, in some fashion, to one out of every six 401(k) participants in the country. Therefore, to be recognized by Fidelity as a leading retirement plan consulting practice is an honor for the organization.
The consulting practice and the group’s clients continue to be recognized by the industry as leaders in designing and implementing methods to help the American worker achieve a sustainable retirement.
In honor of this award, Fidelity Investments has donated $15,000 to the charities of its choice. Alliance Benefit Group has chosen to match their contribution dollar-for-dollar for a total charitable contribution of $30,000. As part of our mission of promoting sustainability, they have directed these charitable dollars to two separate endeavors at home and abroad.
A total of $15,000 will be donated to the Albert Lea Educational Foundation, committed to providing enhanced educational opportunities targeted to children in need within the home office community of Albert Lea.
The company also believes that everyone, everywhere deserves the chance to have a sustainable future. For billions of people that starts with the simplest of basic necessities, clean water. As such, $15,000 will be donated to Marion Medical Missions, committed to installing 2,500 clean water wells annually in Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania.
