Austin woman injured in I-90 crash

An Austin woman was injured after a rollover Monday afternoon on Interstate 90 in eastern Freeborn County.

Amanda L. Steinhorst, 29, was driving a 2008 Chevy Impala and heading east at about noon when she lost control of her car, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The vehicle reportedly hydroplaned, entered the ditch and rolled. The report stated Steinhorst was driving with her cruise control on at the time of the crash.

Steinhorst was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin with injuries deemed not life-threatening.

Roads were wet at the time of the crash.

Alcohol was reportedly not a factor in the crash, and Steinhorst was wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

The vehicle reportedly sustained severe damage and was towed.
