Coffee, hot cider and cookies will be available at the museum.

Pat Mulso, executive director of the Freeborn County Historical Museum & Village, recommended attendees wear shoes that can be slipped off if wet weather arises.

“It’s a fun way to get new ideas for decorating,” Mulso said.

Mulso said attendees should expect many ideas and styles of decorations in the homes.

She said the event sets the spirit for the season.

“It’s sort of nice to see what other people do to decorate,” Mulso said.

Mulso said the first event was held two years ago and was successful so they decided to do it again.
