Real Hope for the Hungry is a volunteer-driven organization that packages and distributes food in communities through food shelves, backpack programs, etc. The volunteer teams, young and mature alike, have packaged meals that have reached children and families in several countries around the world, as well as in our own communities.

According to a press release, Real Hope for the Hungry packing events gives volunteers an opportunity to contribute hands-on in feeding those in need in their local communities.

The group now has a new, domestic food product developed by food scientists for Kids Against Hunger, which means it meets the dietetic standards in the United States. This product is a highly nutritious meal is called Latin Rice Casserole.
