Joel and Linda Stensrud of Freeborn and Randy and Sandy Tomschin of Alden are happy to announce the engagement of their children, Jessica Stensrud and Brad Tomschin.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of United South Central High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Duluth with a degree in marketing. She is employed at Farmers State Bank in Albert Lea as the marketing director/customer service representative.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Alden High School and a 2011 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings with a degree in engineering. He is employed at Almco, a division of Innovance, in Albert Lea as a design engineer.

Grandparents of the bride are Elmer and Merle Stensrud of Freeborn and Francis and Eileen Chicos of New Richland.

Grandparents of the groom are Louis and Phyllis Tomschin of Alden and Eddy and Doris Quinn of  Freeborn.

A Jan. 9, 2016, wedding is planned in Albert Lea.
