Teaching assistant accused of misconduct

ST. LOUIS PARK  — A teaching assistant in a Minneapolis suburb has been arrested and accused of criminal sexual conduct.

The St. Louis Park School District said administrators became aware of an incident involving a middle school student and a 31-year-old male teacher.

The man was arrested Tuesday in Minneapolis and the teaching assistant has been placed on administrative leave.
