Peterson was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with injuries deemed not life-threatening.

Both were reportedly wearing seatbelts, and alcohol wasn’t a factor in the crash, according to the report.

Assisting on scene were the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Stewartville Fire and Gold Cross Ambulance.

A separate semi crash was reported approximately 10 minutes before at the same spot on Interstate 90.
