Q: What interests you about automobiles?

A: I’ve had a strong interest in automobiles since a young age. I purchased my first car at the age of 14. I’ve owned 30 cars in the last 25 years!

 

Q: What is your favorite car make and model?

A: Dodge Challenger Hellcat

 

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Helping people through the entire purchasing and ownership experience. Buying a car is an intimidating experience for most people, and here at Dave Syverson’s we do things differently than most dealerships. We deliver a unique experience. Plain and simple, we just take care of everybody, every time.

Q: Have you always wanted to work with automobiles? Why or why not?

A: Yes. I’ve worked with the public in every job I’ve had since the age of 15. My father has been a salesman my whole life. He taught me things as I grew up, and you could say sales is in my blood. Coupled with my love of cars, it seemed the car business was the perfect fit. I took a blind leap into the business in 2003, and it’s been a very fulfilling career to this point. I look forward to spending the rest of my career here at Syverson’s in my hometown.

 

Q: What is your favorite memory working with automobiles?

A: I sold a new Chrysler to a gentleman a few years ago. He was elderly and alone. He informed me that he was meeting a group of friends at Crescendo for dinner, and we began to talk about wine. I asked what his favorite wine was. After he left I called Mr. Tewes at Crescendo and purchased his favorite wine to be sent to his table that evening as a surprise. He came to the dealership the next day with a tearful thank you, and we developed a friendship that lasted until his passing. He stopped in every week to say hello and have a cup of coffee with me.

 

Q: What is one interesting fact about you?

A: I recently married the love of my life, and we share five beautiful children together and plan to have one more to make us a fine “Brady Bunch.”

A: Golf, shooting range, riding my Harley
