Leo Andrew Dylla, 88, of Wells died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at his home. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. The Rev. Andrew Vogel will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Leo Andrew was born Dec. 9, 1927, in Dunbar Township, Faribault County, the son of Charles and Julia (Kalis) Dylla. Leo was united in marriage to Beverly Haukoos on May 24, 1950, in Wells. He was a hired man for area farmers and worked for Frank Brothers Elevator and the city of Wells Street Department until his retirement. Leo enjoyed listening to polka music and especially watching Bandwagon and Molly B Polka Party.
Leo is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bev; daughters Barbara (Dave) Wildgrube and Lisa (Dave) Foley; grandchildren Grant (Anna) Wildgrube, Bonnie (Joe) Isder, Mandy (Bryan) Bottke, Kermit Bottke, Kyle (Alison) Bottke, Jason (Sarah) Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Laura Foley and Trevor Foley; great-grandchildren Reid and Claire Wildgrube, Lucy and Olivia Bottke and Logan and Keegan Johnson; sister-in-law, Donna (Dylla) Allen; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nona Bottke; brothers Frank, Louis, Roman, Herbert, Ray and Alex; sisters Helen, Martha, Florence, MaryAnn and Adeline; and many brothers and sisters-in-law.
