Lights in 1930s were a delight

I am writing this letter to agree with the two people who have written in about the Christmas lights and the lights that outline the edges of buildings.
Back in 1933 or 1934, Albert Lea had nice lights that graced the streets of Broadway. Why can’t we go back to that again? It would be a lot better than what we have now.
Get rid of that blue and silver stuff that wraps around the light poles. It would look more like Christmas if we had lights that run across the street and to have lights that line South Broadway all the way out to Health Reach. So, let’s get this town back to the way it was.
