Police dept. looking for suspect

A picture, along with a description, was posted on the Albert Lea Police Department’s Facebook page Sunday morning.

Deputy Director of Police J.D. Carlson said as of Monday morning the department was still looking for the suspect.

 

3 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Ryan Shane Lewis, 30, on a local warrant at 11:35 p.m. Friday at 1318 E. Main St.

Police arrested Jason Robert Carson, 28, on a Hennepin County warrant at 11:59 p.m. Friday at 906 W. Front St.

Police arrested Levi Troy Dahl, 20, on a felony warrant at 2:31 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and East College Street.

 

1 arrested on apprehension and detention order

Albert Lea police arrested Jorge Luis Acosta Valdez, 49, on an apprehension and detention order at 4:18 p.m. Friday at the Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

 

1 cited for shoplifting and burglary

Police cited Ruben James Miranda, 39, for theft and burglary at 12:39 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. He reportedly took a DVD valued at $28.95.

 

Items, information stolen

Items were reported stolen from storage at 4:20 p.m. Friday at 201 St. Thomas Ave. in Albert Lea. Personal identifying information was also reportedly stolen. She was reportedly notified by Hastings Police Department.
