Scholarships available

Sons of Norway Normana Lodge No. 52 will offer two scholarships to individuals with a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale who have completed at least two years of college and intends to enroll in a program that leads to a concentration in Scandinavian students. Scandinavian studies include subjects such as art, crafts, history, music, international studies, language, literature, politics, mythology, etc.
The money will be paid to the recipient’s college on Dec. 1 after a statement is received from the college indicating enrollment in a Scandinavian studies program. The student has no obligation to Normana Lodge following acceptance of the scholarship.
Completed applications should be postmarked by March 15.
The money used for the scholarships has been given by Shirley M. Bartholomew, Berta Weiks and other members and friends of Sons of Norway Normana Lodge. Correspondence should be directed to Secretary, Sons of Norway, Normana Lodge No. 52, P.O. Box 875, Albert Lea 56007.
