Worker dies after being run over at Minn. high school

ROYALTON — Authorities said a construction worker has died after being run over by a dump truck outside a high school in central Minnesota.
It happened Friday at Royalton High School in Royalton. The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where he died shortly after 1 p.m. that day.
The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office identifies the man as 60-year-old Vernon Barthel of Rice.
The medical examiner said Barthel died from multiple blunt force injuries after being run over by a vehicle.
Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen said a dump truck backed over Barthel near the school bus garage.
