Man suffers broken arm, taken to hospital after collision

An Albert Lea man was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after a T-bone collision Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Frank Avenue and Fourth Street.

A Dodge Dakota driven by Jamie Anderson, 42, of Albert Lea was driving west on Fourth Street, according to the Albert Lea Police Department. Anderson reportedly stopped at a stop sign and pulled out in front of a Oldsmobile Royale driven by Meridee Strouf, 27, of Albert Lea, who was heading north on Frank Avenue.

Anderson reportedly suffered a broken arm and was transported to the hospital. His injury was deemed not life-threatening.

Strouf reportedly sustained no injury.
