Mary White

Mary was born Sept. 18, 1938, in Albert Lea and was a lifelong resident. If there were two words to describe her, they would be unselfish and generous.

Mary loved being a mother and grandmother. She always had food prepared for any kids who stopped by after school. She wanted them well-fed before they went to their evening sporting events or other activities.

She enjoyed entertaining friends and family at her home with Gabby, making sure no one went away hungry and everyone had a plate of goodies to take home with them when they left. Mary was always taking care of everyone without asking or expecting anything in return.

She loved watching and cheering for “her” Minnesota Twins, always hopeful for a return to the World Series. She also enjoyed watching the cooking channel, always searching for new recipes to make.

Mother Mary was the core of the family, loved and adored by all. She will be very, very, deeply missed.

Mary is survived by four children, Jeff (Lisa) White, Lisa (Steve) Dulas, Tracie (Ed) Bellrichard and Mona (Pete) Nelson; six grandchildren,  JT, Trent, and Tanner Bellrichard, Nick Dulas and Avery and Jaxon White;  uncle, John Sullivan; aunt, “Tootie” Virginia Stenseth; sisters Shirley (Howard) Wayne and Jean (Wally) Nigbur; brother, Bill (Monica) Moen; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gabby; her parents Arnie and Helen Moen; and parents-in-law, Guadalupe and Frank White.

Memorials are preferred to St. Theodore Catholic School. In lieu of flowers, Mary would like people to bring a non-perishable food item to the church to be donated to the local food shelf.
