Sparks reported

Sparks were reported coming from a water heater in a bathroom at 3:31 a.m. this morning at 127 N. Broadway in Alden. No fire was reported, according to Freeborn County Sheriff Kurt Freitag.

 

1 arrested on warrant

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Harry Wicks, 24, on an out-of-county warrant, driving after revocation and an open bottle violation at 8:13 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West Ninth Street and South Fourth Avenue.
