Private music students of teacher Sharon Astrup-Scott presented a Christmas recital at 2 p.m. Dec. 13 at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Violinist Claire LaFrance, daughter of Kevin and Elizabeth LaFrance, performed with Astrup-Scott. Multiple solos and ensembles were also highlighted throughout the recital. Astrup-Scott was assisted by Tim O’Shields and Cindy Gilbert. A reception followed the performance.
