2 hurt in interstate rollovers

A Sheffield, Iowa, man was injured Sunday morning after two automobiles collided, causing one to roll over in the median on Interstate 35 near Albert Lea.
Michael Schroeder, 61, was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester for injuries deemed not life-threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Schroeder was reportedly driving southbound on I-35 near milepost 10 in a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer when he lost control of the vehicle and spun in front of a 2015 Honda Accord.
The Honda then struck the Trailblazer, sending it into the center median where it rolled, according to the State Patrol.
The driver of the Honda was listed as Gene Lightt, 62, of Denver, Iowa. Conditions were not documented for Lightt, his passenger or Schroeder’s passenger.
The crash took place at 10:40 a.m.
The Albert Lea Police Department assisted at the scene.
No alcohol was detected.
1 injured in rollover on icy Interstate 35
A Boone, Iowa, woman was injured in a rollover crash Sunday night on Interstate 35 in Steele County.
Bailey Jones, 20, was transported to Owatonna Hospital with injuries deemed not life-threatening.
Jones was driving a 2005 Dodge Durango north on I-35 near milepost 30, north of Ellendale, when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll, according to the State Patrol.
The passenger of the vehicle, Alex Miller, 24, also of Boone, suffered no apparent injury.
The crash took place at 11:11 p.m.
Ellendale Ambulance assisted on scene.
Roads were listed as icy at the time of the crash.
No alcohol was detected.
