Memorial services for Duane T. Hansen of Albert Lea will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church in Glenville. The Rev. Tom Klingbeil will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service.

Duane died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea. He was 61.

Duane was born June 6, 1954, in Albert Lea, the son of Melvin and Ruby (Wikoren) Hansen. He was a graduate of Glenville High School.

Duane had been a resident of Freeborn County all of his life and worked various jobs in the area. He loved to spend time with family — especially his nieces.

He is survived by his sister, Lisa, and her husband, Justin Studier, of Albert Lea; his nieces Gracie, Aliyah and Kallie; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Hansen.
