1 cited for possessing alcohol

Albert Lea police cited a juvenile for possession of alcohol at 12:19 p.m. Friday at Albert Lea High School.

 

Burglary reported

Forced entry from the east side of a vacant house was reported at 3:41 p.m. Friday at 825 Jefferson Ave. Damage was estimated at $150. It was unknown if anything was taken.

 

Theft reported

A theft of merchandise with an estimated value of $200 was reported at 10:58 p.m. Friday at Walmart. The suspect was identified as an African-American or hispanic male with blue jeans, a tan jacket, blue shirt and dark shoes. The suspect was reportedly 6 feet tall.

The incident reportedly occurred at around 9:40 p.m. Friday.

 

3 cited for marijuana violations

Police cited a juvenile for possessing a small amount of marijuana at 12:29 p.m. Friday at Albert Lea High School.

Police cited Sarah Jean Zamora, 39, for possessing marijuana at 4:58 p.m. Sunday at 208 W. Third St. on a traffic stop. Police cited Mark Allen Kuiper, 36, for possessing a drug required by federal law to be dispensed only pursuant to the prescription of a licensed practitioner.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited Jamie John Kujak, 27, for possessing a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:44 a.m. Saturday at 21714 733rd Ave.

 

3 arrested for domestic assault

Albert Lea police arrested Kimberly Mae Starkson, 25, at 6:06 p.m. Friday at 521 Euclid St. Starkson was reportedly charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest.

Police arrested Cain Elliot Hutchins, 41, for misdemeanor domestic assault at 1:38 a.m. Sunday at 800 S. Fourth Ave.

Police arrested Joshua James Schwarz, 21, for domestic assault at 4:24 a.m. today at 909 Janson St.

 

3 arrested on warrants

Albert Lea police arrested Salim Hassian Counts, 40, on a warrant at 5:09 p.m. Saturday at 412 Euclid Ave. Counts was warned for driving after revocation.

Police arrested Eddy Delossantos, 47, on local warrants at 6:37 p.m. Sunday at 1019 James Ave.

Police arrested Michael Bernal, 24, on local warrants at 11:36 p.m. Sunday at Freeborn County Law Enforcement Center.

Police arrested Joel Kenneth Bearfield, 29, on a local warrant a 10:15 p.m. Sunday at 606 Water St.
