Freeborn County Historical Museum’s lecture series continues

The Freeborn County Historical Museum’s lecture series “Historically Speaking” continues with its March lecture on Saturday.
The lecture will be “Freeborn County in Cuba.” The lecture will be a presentation by Mark and Joan Anderson and other residents that recently took a trip to Cuba. They will share pictures and impressions of the Communist island nation, which is now experiencing new openness with the United States.
The lecture is free to museum members and $5 for non-members. Refreshments will be served. The lecture starts at 9 a.m. and runs until 10:30 a.m. The lecture series is coordinated by museum board member Gary Schindler.
