Power outage explained

About 1,300 households in northern Albert Lea were without power for a little more than an hour Wednesday night after a tree limb fell on a power line near Green Lea Golf Course.
Power went out at about 8:10 p.m., and crews restored power by about 9:05 p.m., according to a Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services statement.
Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services members were encouraged to call in their power outages at 800-927-6201.
