Teresa Irene Gracyalny, 95, of New Hope, formerly of Wells, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at St. Therese of New Hope.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Casimir Catholic Church. The Rev. Andrew Vogel will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be at St. Casimir Cemetery in Wells. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home is assisting the family. Teresa was born Oct. 2, 1920, in Walnut Lake Township, the daughter of George F. and Gladys (Garver) Schmidt. She was united in marriage to Bernard Gracyalny on Sept. 7, 1937, in Wells. Teresa lived in the Wells/Easton and Minnesota Lake areas her whole life. She loved to be outside taking care of her garden and flowers. She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, and formerly St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake.

Teresa is survived by her children Jerome of New Hope, Leonard (Terri) of Vero Beach, Florida, Joan Wichmann of Merritt Island, Florida, and Ann (John) Schmitt of Collierville, Tennesee; blessed with grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert (Betty) Schmidt of Kenner, Lousiana, and Donald (Gertrude) Schmidt of Wells; along with numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard; son-in-law, Leon Wichmann; brother, Kenneth Schmidt; and sister, Virginia Horn.
