A homeowner was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Abert Lea after an electrical fire reported at 4:19 p.m. Thursday at 212 S. First Ave. The homeowner was reportedly transported after being treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics at the scene. A second resident was reportedly treated at the scene, but not transported. Damage was reported to an outlet to a dryer. The residents will reportedly be able to return once electricians restore power to the residence. Provided
