Betty died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at St. John’s Lutheran Community in Albert Lea.

Betty Jean Tasker was born Nov. 30, 1930, in Glenville, the daughter of Valentine and Sarah (Kroeger) Haines. She was raised in Glenville and attended high school there.

She was united in marriage to Robert Tasker Sr. Betty worked at Streater and later as a nurse’s aide at St. John’s Lutheran Community once her children were in school. She loved cooking, gambling, sewing and making quilts.

Betty is survived by sons Bill (Jody Riley) Tasker, Terry Tasker and Bob Tasker; grandchildren Adrienne (Chris) Benson, April Harmdiercks, Amber Tasker, Jonah (Tena) Tasker, Andria Baas; several great-grandchildren; siblings, John Haines, Robert Haines and Martha Tasker; and many niece and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Paul Tasker; daughter, Linda (Lee) Holstad; and grandson, Scott.
