David Knutson, 60, of Northfield passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016, with his family by his side at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Boe Memorial Chapel on St. Olaf Campus in Northfield. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield, and will continue for a half hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Paula; children Laura Knutson of Minneapolis, Molly Knutson of Duluth and J.P. Knutson of Northfield; sister, Linda (Nate) Wayne of Minneapolis; nieces Kristin (Jim) Nelson and their son, Griffin, and Kera Wayne; as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alger and Beatrice (Peterson) Knutson; and brother, John, in infancy.

Arrangements are being handled by Bierman Funeral Home of Northfield.
