The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 16 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 447 will host a clothing drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds. The drop-off point will be next to the VFW bingo hall, behind the Grandstand. Volunteers will be on hand to help unload donated items.

The groups will accept clean, usable clothing, shoes, small appliances, usable furniture and glassware. No televisions will be accepted unless they are flat screens.

According to a press release, all proceeds will be used locally to support veterans and local youth activities.
