Johnson said this will be her second spring show and her third show overall, as she had a show to showcase fall fashion as well. She expected about 100 people to attend.

Five local women will model four spring outfits each, including dresses, tops, leggings and jackets, along with numerous accessories, including necklaces, bracelets, belts, scarves and purses.

Each of the models spent time in the store, trying on clothes and picking out their outfits based on their personal tastes.

Johnson said popular this spring are lightweight denims, bright colors and the Bohemian layered look.

She anticipated she would sponsor another fall style show in September, as well as other special events throughout the year. She encouraged people to check back for information about the fall show, as tickets sell out fast.

Between Friends, at 105 N. Broadway north of the Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau, offers specialty women’s clothing size small through extra large, along with accessories, home decor and gift items. It opened summer 2014.

The boutique is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

It can be reached by phone at 507-473-2111 or 507-383-7481.
