The 17th annual Women’s Health Care Symposium will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. May 7 at the Historic Hormel Home, 208 Fourth Ave. NW in Austin.

According to a press release, Mayo Clinic Health System providers from Austin will provide health information on transforming community care, bone health importance, understanding mental health, and community health and wellness options.

The symposium is worth 2.1 contact hours and has been designated to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing continuing education requirements. Check with your profession to determine if this symposium meets criteria for continuing education. A light breakfast will be served.

The symposium is free and open to women of all ages. Space is limited, so those interested in attending are encouraged to register early at 507-668-2046.
