Thanks for the donated magazines

On behalf of our Magazine Merry-Go-Round, the Naeve Hospital Auxiliary would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our contributors who have participated in the past, dropping off their lightly used, current (three months or less) magazines at the front desk of the hospital.
We have been able to keep the various patient waiting rooms stocked with up-to-date magazines that help many pass the time while waiting for their appointments. Your continued generous support allows us to continue this service. We accept most monthly magazines that interest patients from all walks of life served at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.
The auxiliary is staffed totally by volunteers who provide a variety of services to the hospital, including raising money through our gift and coffee shops and various fundraisers throughout the year, as well as providing small comforts such as warm caps for cancer patients, newborns, blankets for hospice patients and many other behind-the-scenes services always on a volunteer basis. Money raised from fundraisers and the gift and coffee shop is used to purchase items that help our hospital deliver the best possible care to all who need the hospital’s services.
If you would like to know more about volunteering opportunities, please contact Kari Hall, volunteer services coordinator, through the main number at the hospital at 373-2384.
