A time-honored tradition

The students of St. Casimir’s School in Wells recently participated in this time-honored Church tradition of May Crowning. During this devotion, all of the children placed flowers at the feet of the school’s statue of Mary on Mother’s Day. Following the procession of flowers to the altar, second-grade student Michael Oldham received the honor of placing a crown of flowers upon Mary’s head. - Provided
