Agriculture Safety Day planned

The Progressive Agriculture Safety Day will be from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. June 15 at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds in Albert Lea. According to a press release, the event will be a fun-filled day of learning for children completing kindergarten through third grade. Topics for demonstrations and discussions include:

• PTO safety

• Grain safety

Email newsletter signup

• First aid

• Sun safety

• Electrical safety

• Fire safety

• Chemical safety

• Germ safety

• Animal safety

• Home alone safety

The registration fee is $5 per child and scholarships are available.

The safety day includes lunch, snacks, a T-Shirt and a take-home goody bag.

Register with the Albert Lea FFA/alumni or at the Albert Lea- Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce. There will be a limit of 110 participants.
