BROOKLYN PARK — Authorities said a drug bust in Brooklyn Center has netted 140 pounds of methamphetamine, the largest seizure of the drug in state history.
Forty-year-old Dolores Castillo and 27-year-old Francisco Silvestre-Marintez are both charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
The federal Drug Enforcement Agency and the Anoka Hennepin Drug Task Force seized the meth from a home in Brooklyn Center on Monday.
Castillo and Silvestre-Marintez were arrested at their home in Maplewood. Authorities say the two had two pounds of meth and $130,000 in cash on hand.
