CLEAR LAKE — While Albert Leans anxiously await the monthly Wind Down Wednesdays that take place during the summer months, Clear Lake will host its own weekly family friendly event, Thursdays on Main.

The Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce event will begin June 9 and continue every week through the end of August, with the exception of the week of the Fourth of July.

According to a press release, Thursdays on Main features live music, entertainment, classic cars a bounce house, hand-powered kiddie train rides, a vendor street market and a movie in the park. Retail stores also stay open later.

Most of the attractions can be found on Main Avenue from 6 to 9 p.m. The special entertainment is provided at 6:30 p.m. at City Park; live music is played from 7 to 9 p.m. next to Larson’s Mercantile at 323 Main Ave.; and Movie in the Park caps off the evening at 9 p.m. in City Park.

All activities are free to attend.
