Fight reported at high school

A fight was reported at 8:17 a.m. Wednesday at Albert Lea High School. More information was not available at press time.

 

Items reported stolen

Routers were reported stolen at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday at 1332 Todd Ave. The routers were reportedly taken from the house Tuesday night. A side door and inside door from a porch were reportedly damaged.

A baby-blue Trek mountain bike was reported stolen at 5 p.m. Wednesday at 606 Water St.

A maroon bike with a ripped seat was reported stolen at 7:56 p.m. Wednesday at 127 Elizabeth Ave. The bike was reportedly taken in the last few days.

Two bottles of vodka were reported stolen at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday at Fountain Warehouse Liquor, 160 Bridge Ave. Two people, described as African-American females, reportedly left the store in a maroon Saturn Ion with a damaged front end toward downtown Albert Lea. The driver of the vehicle was described as an African-American male.

 

2 arrested on warrants

Albert Lea police arrested Rodolfo Valdez, 18, on a Mower County warrant at 5:43 p.m. Wednesday at 500 Frank Ave.

Police arrested Alex Jon Scott, 35, on a Department of Corrections warrant at 6:47 p.m. Wednesday at 504 James Ave.

 

1 arrested for drug possession

Police arrested Mark Allen Kuiper, 36, for fifth-degree drug possession at a traffic stop at 12:19 a.m. today at the intersection of East Second Street and Frank Avenue.
