Glenville man injured in collision on U.S. Highway 65

GLENVILLE — A Glenville man was injured this morning in a broadside crash on U.S. Highway 65 in Freeborn County.

Danny J. Morgan, 61, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with an injury deemed not life-threatening.

Morgan was reportedly heading west on 160th Avenue in a 2013 Honda Civic when his vehicle collided with a 2009 Peterbilt tractor semi driven by Christopher A. Beer, 44, of Albert Lea, that was north on Highway 65, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash, northwest of Glenville, reportedly took place shortly after 1 a.m.

Beer was not injured.

The State Patrol stated alcohol was not a factor.

Morgan and Beer were wearing their seatbelts, according to the State Patrol.
