A Greenfield, Iowa, man was injured today in a rollover semi crash on Interstate 35, near the Freeborn and Steele County line.
Jeffrey A. Thompson, 55, was flown to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester as a precaution, with injuries deemed not-life threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Thompson was driving a 2015 International semi south on I-35 — two miles north of the Hartland and Geneva exit — when severe crosswinds blew the semi over into the median at 2:41 a.m., according to the report.
It was unknown if Thompson was wearing his seat belt, according to the State Patrol.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
