An Aurora, Illinois, man who reportedly inappropriately touched a girl under the age of 13 over a span of more than four years was placed on probation for up to 25 years Monday in Freeborn County District Court.

Ruben Guerra Munguia, 44, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sexual conduct in March.

The incident reportedly occurred between Jan. 1, 2007, and Sept. 1, 2011, in Albert Lea

Munguia received a stay of imposition sentence, and was given credit for more than two years served in the Freeborn County jail.

Munguia originally faced two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and an additional count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, but those charges were dismissed with the plea agreement.
